The 2026 Acura MDX is powered by a V6 engine that produces 290 horsepower while the Inline-4 engine for the Audi Q7 offers 261 horsepower. The Acura features a ten-speed automatic transmission, and the Audi has an eight-speed automatic. Fuel economy is almost identical with both models having 26 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg combined. The Audi offers 20 mpg in the city while the MDX comes in at 19 mpg with city driving.

The MDX includes Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound with 19 speakers, which tops the 11-speaker system for Audi. As you would expect with luxury models, you’ll get multiple safety features, such as rear parking sensors, rearview camera, and adaptive cruise control. The Audi comes with a standard spare tire, which isn’t included with the Acura MDX.
